GO2 PLEDGES SUPPORT TO GUYS NHS TRUST FOR STRESS AWARENESS MONTH
UK based wellbeing brand, GO2, has pledged its support to Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust as part of this year’s national Stress Awareness Month (April 2021).
The firm, which manufactures 100% natural essential oil inhaler sticks in four variants; FOCUS, ENERGY, B.CALM AND SLEEP has donated 1000 sticks to the team of clinical and non-clinical staff; who have worked tirelessly over the past 12 months as the pandemic swept across the UK.
The donation to Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust is to support their series of wellbeing events being held as part of national Stress Awareness Month which is held to increase awareness of both the causes and cures for the modern stress epidemic that has been exacerbated by Covid-19.
Founder of the GO2 brand of wellness products, Marc Shipman said: “Supporting charities and those heroes at the front line in our remarkable NHS is something we have wanted to do since our brand launched and when the opportunity arose to support Guy’s and St Thomas’, we couldn’t say no!
“In fact, we have gone one step further and I am proud to say that our support won’t stop with the first donation and we will continue to provide 1000 GO2 inhaler sticks on a regular basis.”
Dipannita Betal, Stakeholder Engagement Specialist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust said: “The donation from the team at GO2 has been incredible and greatly appreciated by everyone.
“Not only have we been able to use them at the events but the ongoing support will also enable us to have the inhaler sticks in our wellbeing zones across all our hospitals and on community sites which are dedicated spaces for staff to take a break, access the support available and speak to wellbeing advisors should they feel they need to.”
GO2 is the first UK-based company to launch 100% natural essential oil inhaler sticks to the UK market to aid the nation through various stages of the day and life.
